Hey, Northern Orange County: In case you haven’t heard, Life Time Brea is opening in the summer of 2026 in an anchor spot of Brea Mall! This new club joins the established Life Time Lakeshore-Irvine, Life Time Laguna Nigel, and Life Time Rancho San Clemente locations in the greater Orange County area.
“Brea Mall is a mecca of retail and dining, and Life Time Brea will be housed in a prominent corner of it,” says Brad Malvin, lead general at Life Time Brea. “The Brea community is filled with phenomenal people. We’re excited to bring them elevated health and wellness experiences in a luxurious setting — this club is one the community has been waiting for.”
Let’s explore the 85,000-square-foot space:

After being greeted by the concierge team upon their arrival, members will see a beautiful lounge area that leads to the full-service LifeCafe. There, they can sit and enjoy a meal after a workout or grab something to go. “Our priority is to give members access to fresh, healthy meals, snacks, and shakes,” says Malvin.
On the first floor near the main entrance, members can visit the LifeSpa, a full-service salon and spa offering body, skin, hair, and nail treatments designed to help them feel their best.

Nearby is the Life Time Work Club Lounge — an open-plan, community-style coworking area that’s complimentary for members. “Members can conduct business, browse their devices, or just lounge here,” adds Malvin. (Learn more: “What Is the Life Time Work Club Lounge?”)
Continuing through the first floor, members will find luxurious locker rooms for men, women, and families. Both the men’s and women’s locker rooms feature a full hydrotherapy suite experience with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and cold plunge. There, members can feel pampered in spaces dedicated to their recovery and relaxation.

This floor is also where members can drop their kids off at the Kids Academy — and Life Time Brea is going all-in on the experience for its junior members. The Kids Academy will feature a kids gym, activity studio, infant room, language arts studio, movement studio, toddler area, and outdoor play area.
Parents can leave their kids — ages three months to 11 years — at the Kids Academy while they make use of other areas of the club. Kids can learn, play, and grow with engaging and enriching age-specific programming and classes. (Parents can use up to 2.5 hours of child care per day, included with a Junior Membership.)

Another perk of a Junior Membership is attending unlimited monthly kids and tweens events. Parents can enjoy an evening to themselves — at the club or elsewhere — during regular Parents Night Out and Tween Takeover events, which are always based around fun themes.
Families can also enroll their kids in School-Break Camps for those days when school is out and they need some entertainment.
“Kids can look forward to coming to Life Time Brea and see the club as a home away from home,” says Malvin. “Here, they can engage with other children and enjoy the Kids Academy’s robust programming. Parents can also feel assured that while they’re working to achieve their healthy-living goals, their children are taking part in healthy activities as well.”

Moving upstairs, the second floor is “where the fitness magic happens,” according to Malvin. Discover the expansive workout floor, which has free weights, state-of-the-art cardio and resistance-training machines, and designated stretching areas. It’s easy to build and stay consistent with a fitness routine when everything you need is available in one convenient space.
Members seeking a more individualized fitness experience or added guidance and accountability can connect one-on-one with a Dynamic Personal Trainer (at an additional cost).
“Our Dynamic Personal Trainers are here to meet members where they’re at with their health and wellness goals,” says Malvin. “We want to help them reach their aspirations safely and in an educated and efficient way.” (Learn more: “Achieve Your Fitness Goals With Dynamic Personal Training.”)

The workout floor is also where members can partake in GTX and Alpha signature group training classes. GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning.
“Our signature group training programs typically feature smaller class sizes, which helps curate an encouraging and energetic environment,” says Malvin. “True transformation can take place in a group setting such as this.”

Also on the second floor is a yoga studio where a variety of yoga formats, as well as MB360, will be offered. Part of Life Time’s signature group training portfolio, MB360 is a mind-body program that melds meditation and mobility work with functional strength and conditioning exercises.
There are four more studio rooms dedicated to unique-to-Life-Time group fitness classes that are taught by top performers. There is something for everyone, regardless of fitness level or interest. (Learn more: “Why Life Time Classes Are for Everyone.”)
Life Time Brea will also offer Life Time’s newest class format, CTR (Core Tone Reform). This high-energy, low-impact athletic reformer workout is designed for all fitness levels. (Learn more: “Core, Tone, Reform: What is CTR at Life Time?”)

After your workout, wind down in the LT Recovery Zone, where you can find HydroMassage and CryoLounge chairs, Normatec compression therapy devices, and Hyperice vibration therapy tools. (Learn more: “How to Use 3 Popular Recovery Tools at Life Time.”)
Additionally, Life Time Brea features a LifeClinic, where licensed chiropractors are available by appointment (at an additional cost) to help address and alleviate pain or discomfort so you can move and function at your best. (Learn more: “Why LifeClinic?”)
Those aiming to incorporate more recovery, stretching, or mobility work into their fitness plans can consider booking a Dynamic Stretch session: A stretch specialist can take them through a full-body assisted-stretch session (at an additional cost). (Read more: “What Is Dynamic Stretch?”)

There are also three indoor pickleball courts on the second floor for pickleball enthusiasts to book and reserve for some pickle practice or friendly competition. Members can also book court time on one of the two outdoor courts.

In the outdoors space, members will discover Life Time Brea’s Beach Club, featuring a leisure pool with waterslides and a lap pool with six lanes. Cabanas and lounge chairs, as well as an outdoor dining area, surround the pool, so you can soak up the sun and enjoy healthy eats from the outdoor bistro.
Here, Malvin envisions social wellness as the primary focus: “We’ll have activities and events here all year, but especially in the summer months,” he says. “We want this space to be the destination of choice for the Brea community. This is where you can come relax, energize, and socialize with like-minded people.”
Life Time Brea is more than just a health club, Malvin emphasizes. “It’s a community — we want members to enjoy all the amenities and features of the club and make it a part of their healthy-way-of-life routine,” he says. “It’s a place where you can relax, enjoy time with friends, family, or colleagues, and also work toward your healthy-living goals.”
