Big news, Orlando: The first Life Time athletic country club in the “O-Town” area — and seventh overall in Florida — is arriving in late spring 2026.
With the closest club to the Orlando area being Life Time Harbour Island (more than 70 miles away), Life Time Winter Park brings the opportunity for healthy-way-of-life living to a new community in central Florida. “This is the perfect city to introduce a Life Time athletic country club and help the market understand what luxury and wellness combined look like and how our spaces can truly change lives,” says Kayla Counts, lead general at Life Time Winter Park. “It’s such an exciting opportunity.”
Let’s explore the 85,000-square-foot Life Time Winter Park space:

Starting with the sprawling outdoor facilities, Life Time Winter Park features 10 outdoor pickleball courts, including five covered courts, so members can play while staying protected from the hot Florida sun. This space is designed with fun and relaxation in mind.
“The outdoor pickleball area includes lounge and viewing areas so players can rest in between matches,” Counts says. “The courts are also fully separated from each other, so you’re not worried about a ball rolling onto your court. It’s designed intentionally to have all 10 courts always operating at full capacity.”

In a tribute to its location in the Sunshine State, Life Time Winter Park is going all-in on its Beach Club experience. Members can relax on the resort-style pool deck, which features an outdoor lap pool and leisure pool with water slides. Swim laps, take swim lessons, attend an aqua aerobics class, or simply spend time soaking up the sun. There will be cabanas and lounge chairs as well as outdoor dining areas where you can enjoy healthy eats from the outdoor bistro.
“In Florida, it’s all about being outside as much as you can to soak up the sunshine,” says Counts. “At Life Time Winter Park, we are intentionally designing a Beach Club experience where members will want to spend their time with family and friends in a luxury, elevated setting. With a full liquor license, we’ll be hosting outdoor events throughout the year so members can gather and find community.”

Heading indoors, members can access the luxurious locker rooms — men’s, women’s, and family — on the first floor. The men’s and women’s locker rooms each feature a full hydrotherapy suite experience with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and cold plunge. Here, members can feel pampered in spaces dedicated to their recovery and relaxation.
The locker rooms will also have a private entry into the LifeSpa, a full-service salon and spa offering body, skin, hair, and nail treatments. Six treatment rooms will be dedicated to helping you feel your best.

If you’re feeling hungry, swing by the full-service LifeCafe, which features a scratch kitchen so you can order a nourishing and nutritious meal. You can also grab a quick snack or protein shake to-go after your workout.
Want to hang out for a bit? The adjacent bar and lounge space is a great spot to meet up with friends and connect with like-minded people. “Every small detail has been filtered through the ‘healthy-way-of-life’ lens, so we can make this a place where you’ll enjoy spending your time,” adds Counts.
Also on the first floor is the Life Time Work Club Lounge — an open-plan, community-style coworking area that’s complimentary for members to use. “A space like this is imperative, especially as more people are working remotely,” she says. “Our Life Time Work Club Lounge gives members the flexibility and autonomy to incorporate healthy habits into their workday effortlessly.” (Learn more: “What Is the Life Time Work Club Lounge?”)

There’s also a robust, full-scale Kids Academy space, which has a gym, toddler area, movement studio, infant room, language arts studio, activities studio, and outdoor play area.
Parents can leave their kids — ages three months to 11 years — at the Kids Academy while they make use of other areas of the club. Kids can learn, play, and grow with engaging and enriching age-specific programming and classes. Parents can use up to 2.5 hours of child care per day, included with a Junior Membership.
Another unique perk of a Junior Membership is unlimited monthly kids and tweens events. Parents can enjoy an evening to themselves — at the club or elsewhere — with regular Parents Night Out and Tween Takeover events, which are always based around fun themes.
Families can also enroll in School-Break Camps for those days when school is out and the kids need something to do.
“Life Time doesn’t just accidentally place a club somewhere — the company is very strategic in understanding the demographic, and we know that around half our membership base will likely have juniors on their account,” notes Counts. “We have purposely designed our Kids Academy to have expansive offerings for our members’ children. Whether it’s karate classes, gymnastics, or the learning studio, we have an offering for every junior member — and this is where healthy living starts. We’re aiming to introduce healthy habits at a young age. It’s really exciting that we get to do that, so why not pour everything we can into it?”

Moving up to the second floor, members can dive into their health and fitness pursuits. Discover the expansive workout floor, which has free weights, state-of-the-art cardio and resistance-training machines, and designated stretching areas. It’s easy to build and stay consistent with a fitness routine when everything you need is available in one convenient space.
Members seeking a more individualized fitness experience or added guidance and accountability can connect one-on-one with a Dynamic Personal Trainer (at an additional cost). (Learn more: “Achieve Your Fitness Goals With Dynamic Personal Training.”)
The workout floor is also where members can advance their fitness and partake in GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit signature group training classes. GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning; and Ultra Fit combines sprint-interval training with balance and strength efforts.
Also on the second floor is a yoga studio where a variety of yoga formats as well as MB360 will be offered. Part of Life Time’s signature group training portfolio, MB360 is a mind-body program that melds meditation and mobility work with functional strength and conditioning exercises.
Additionally, there are three other studio rooms dedicated to unique-to-Life-Time group fitness classes. These classes are taught by top performers with options for people of all fitness levels and interests. (Learn more: “Why Life Time Classes Are for Everyone.”)

The club will also offer Life Time’s newest class format, CTR (Core Tone Reform). This high-energy, low-impact athletic reformer workout is designed for all fitness levels. (Learn more: “Core, Tone, Reform: What is CTR at Life Time?”)
“Being able to implement our CTR program is an absolute home run at Life Time Winter Park,” says Counts. “I’m excited for our members to understand and experience it.”
If the sun is beaming down too intensely outdoors, members can also enjoy indoor pickleball at one of the three indoor pickleball courts.

After your workout, wind down in the LT Recovery Zone, where you can find HydroMassage lounge chairs, CryoLounge chairs, Normatec compression therapy devices, and Hyperice vibration therapy devices. (Learn more: “How to Use 3 Popular Recovery Tools at Life Time.”)
Additionally, Life Time Winter Park features a LifeClinic, where licensed chiropractors are available by appointment (at an additional cost) to help address and alleviate pain or discomfort so you can move and function at your best. There will be two treatment rooms available. (Learn more: “Why LifeClinic?”)
For those aiming to incorporate more recovery, stretching, or mobility work into their fitness plans, consider a Dynamic Stretch session in which a stretch specialist can take you through a full-body assisted-stretch session (at an additional cost). (Read more: “What Is Dynamic Stretch?”)
“Many people tend to neglect the recovery side of their fitness journey,” says Counts. “That’s why Life Time Winter Park has designated spaces for recovery, so it’s accessible and front-of-mind. It’s all been thought out — you can access the amenities that help you recover so you can push yourself harder and further in your next workout.”
Life Time Winter Park is designed to be a one-stop shop for all your health and wellness needs, according to Counts. “At Life Time, there’s no need to take a Pilates class at one location, drop your kids off somewhere else, and pick up lunch at another location — we have it all, from start to finish, in one building. I’m really excited to bring Life Time to this community so we can have a positive impact.”
