It’s likely no surprise that kids who develop healthy habits as they grow are more likely to stick with them for a lifetime. What may be surprising, though, is the support you can get for nurturing those behaviors with a Life Time Junior Membership.

To date, Life Time has more than 120,000 junior members who belong to its athletic country clubs. (Junior Memberships can be added for a set rate to any adult or family membership and are for kids ages 12 and under.) While there is no shortage of things for kids to do at Life Time, many parents are not aware of the ways they can maximize their kid’s membership.

Are you making the most of these offerings?

1. Child Care. Receive up to 2 hours of complimentary supervised playtime for kids ages 3 to 11 months, and up to 2.5 hours for kids ages 1 to 11 years at the Kids Academy while you work out or enjoy the club. You can use this benefit every single day! (Child care time allotment may vary by club.)

2. Kids Academy Classes. Available throughout the day for kids, these activities include dance, arts and crafts, yoga, sports, tumbling, music, and more. Classes are typically 50 minutes and available for kids ages 3 to 11.

3. Kids Studio Classes. Kids can participate in the same group fitness classes their parents love — but that are taught in a format created just for kids. Choose from SOL yoga, Warrior Sculpt, SHRED, Ringside, and Life Barre classes. Ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 13 are taught separately.

4. Unlimited Monthly Kids and Tween Events. Parents can enjoy an evening to themselves — at the club or somewhere else — with our monthly Parents Night Out and Tween Takeover events. Parents Night Out events occur weekly for kids ages 4 to 12 and feature games and activities based around that event’s theme. Tweens (ages 9 to 13) get to take over their athletic country club twice per month at Tween Takeover events.

5. Open gym and open swim. Maybe your kids enjoy shooting hoops or playing a game of pickup basketball. Perhaps they love swimming and want to practice their skills — or just splash around in the pool. Life Time offers open gym and pool times for members.
