Life Time has had experts tracking and studying the AI revolution for quite some time so they could understand and use the technology where it’s most beneficial. The result is L•AI•C (pronounced “lay-see”), Life Time’s AI-driven companion, which is available to users in the Life Time app.

Life Time | What is L•AI•C?
Drew Trabing | L•AI•C is Life Time’s AI companion that can help you with questions related to your health, your workouts, your Life Time membership, Life Time offerings, and more. It is available for use by anyone who downloads the Life Time app.
It’s powered by Microsoft’s AI Studio, and you can think of L•AI•C like you would Siri, Alexa, ChatGPT, or other virtual chat tools — but with one significant distinction: L•AI•C is not sourcing information from who-knows-where across the web. L•AI•C learns from information created by Life Time and its experts.
This means that when you ask it questions about our athletic country clubs, programs, and services, you’re getting accurate and helpful information specific to Life Time. And when you ask it for guidance for your workouts or about any health-related questions you have, you’re getting trusted answers based on scientifically backed content that’s informed by trainers, dietitians, and other health experts.
LT | How are Life Time members using L•AI•C?
DT | Life Time club access members can use L•AI•C in a variety of ways to enhance their Life Time membership experience and inform their healthy-living goals, including the following:
Build workouts and track progress over time: L•AI•C can help you build workouts that match your goals (all from a library designed by Life Time fitness professionals). You can search for workouts that target specific body parts or that use specific equipment.
For example, if you’re looking for an upper body strength workout, simply search those words — “upper body strength workout” — and several options will pop up for you. Other search examples include “Help me find an exercise for my biceps,” “Find a program to increase body tone,” or “Tell me how to use the lat pull-down machine.”
You can also request the workout you want and L•AI•C will build it. You can then add it directly to your app so that you can track reps, sets, and weights, and see your progress. L•AI•C will also remember your workout preferences over time to help ensure the workouts you’re completing and tracking are relevant to your specific health goals.
Get answers to health and wellness questions: L•AI•C pulls information from ExperienceLife.com, Life Time’s ever-expanding hub of healthy-living information and content from Experience Life, its award-winning magazine, as well as trusted Life Time experts. Because of this knowledge, L•AI•C can answer your health- and wellness-related questions, offer healthy recipes, and more.
For example, search for “high protein lunches” and receive several recipe options. Or search, “What supplements should I take?” for immediate insights from Life Time dietitians and recommendations from LT Shop. You can also search “How long should I sit in the cold plunge?” for guidance from Life Time recovery experts.
Get answers to membership questions and help with scheduling: L•AI•C can respond to questions about your Life Time membership, the club, classes, events, schedules, and more. Ask L•AI•C about what’s happening at your club on a certain date, what hours the pool is open, or to book a class or court time for you.
You can also ask L•AI•C to help you more easily navigate the Life Time app and find content relevant to you.
