Life Time | Can you give an overview of 60XT? What’s included in it?
Katie Wahowske | 60XT is an eight-week body transformation challenge that begins on March 24 and runs through May 22. It’s designed to help you jumpstart your health goals and see and feel real results in just 60 days.
For a $60 registration fee, participants receive the following:
- A full eight-week training program with daily workouts in the Life Time app (pick from one of three plan options).
- Daily healthy habit tracking to support your transformation.
- A complimentary 50-minute session with a Dynamic Personal Trainer to set your goals and begin to build momentum.
- Exclusive perks, including 15 percent off shakes and on-the-go meals from LifeCafe, discounts on LTH nutritional products during kickoff weekend (March 20 to 23), and premier pricing on LifeSpa products (when you schedule a service).
- A comprehensive “Get Started Guide” to set you up for success, along with weekly coaching content that features tips and inspiration to keep you motivated, as well as a mini podcast series exclusively available to 60XT Challenge participants.
- A chance to win one of five grand prizes worth more than $25,000 (for club-access members only).

LT | What can I expect from the 60XT training program?
KW | Our team of expert coaches designed three strength-training programs to meet a variety of goals and fitness levels:
Program 1: Strength Starter
Designed for those newer to strength training, this full-body program includes three strength-training sessions per week and focuses on building a solid foundation with manageable equipment and less volume. This option is perfect for beginners aiming to get comfortable with the basics of resistance training.
Program 2: Physique Builder
This program is ideal for those who have some experience with strength training and are looking to build muscle. With three strength sessions per week, it combines traditional straight-set strength training with more advanced techniques like split routines in the second 30 days for optimal muscle growth.
Program 3: Weight Loss
This program is for those with some strength-training experience and focuses on a push-pull split for the first four weeks, followed by a circuit-based training approach to ramp up calorie burn and help you change body composition. It’s an ideal blend of strength and fat-burning to give you the sweat session you’re craving in three strength sessions per week.
Participants can schedule their three programmed strength-training workouts on whichever days best fit their routine. On non-strength training days, they can choose from three programmed cardio workouts: a Zone 1-2 intervals workout, a Zone 2 workout, or a Zone 2-3 intervals workout.
One of the best features of this digital program is its flexibility — you can personalize it and choose the path that is best for you. While you can adjust your program at any time, we recommend sticking to one of the three paths for the duration of the challenge to maintain consistency and maximize progress.

LT | What types of habits will I be working on?
KW | The program encourages six daily healthy habits designed to support your transformation and sustain a healthy way of life beyond the challenge.
1. Eating 30 grams of protein at each meal
2. Consuming half of your body weight in ounces of water each day
3. Limiting alcohol consumption
4. Getting 8,000 steps per day
5. Prioritizing self-care or recovery
6. Sleeping seven-plus hours per night
LT | This is framed as a transformation challenge. What exactly do you mean by “transformation” — what results can I expect?
KW | Transformation looks different for everyone, but if you stay consistent with the workouts and daily habits, you’ll likely see noticeable changes in yourself by the end of the challenge. Our Master Trainers designed these workouts and habits to help you build strength, improve endurance, and prioritize recovery and nutrition. The strength training programs follow progressive programming over the eight weeks, ensuring you’re gradually building on your progress. Plus, with structured cardio options and daily habit tracking, the challenge is designed to help you stay accountable and focused.
According to the Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, individuals who follow a planned program and track their progress are 80 percent more likely to sustain their fitness routines long-term. The key is commitment — those who fully embrace the challenge will get the most out of it.
LT | Do I need to work with a Dynamic Personal Trainer to participate?
KW | No, you do not need to be working with a Dynamic Personal Trainer to participate, but we do recommend working with one for added support and accountability. Doing so also gives you the opportunity to customize your workout plan to your unique needs and goals.
LT | Is there a competition? How does that work?
KW | Yes! The 60XT Challenge includes a completely optional competition, focusing on transformation, both physical and mental. At the end of the challenge, 10 participants will be selected as finalists, and five will win grand prizes.
Near the end of the challenge, you’ll have the option to submit your transformation story, before-and-after photos, and other success metrics. A team of judges at Life Time headquarters will select 10 finalists based on a set criterion. The top five selected winners will be awarded the grand prize packages worth over $25,000 and the bottom five will be awarded finalist prize packages worth over $11,000.
