About the Presenters

PROnatal Fitness® Director of Education, Carolyn Appel has built a career on her passion for movement for over two decades in the fitness industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control from Columbia University, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. She also holds specializations from Stick Mobility, Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), and Restore Your Core®. Today, she is a national presenter at some of the world’s largest fitness conferences (IDEA, ACSM, NSCA) and is the co-author of 6 PROnatal Fitness® courses. When she’s not working in fitness, she still gets quite the workout trying to keep up with her energetic son!

PROnatal Fitness® Founder, Brittany Citron, is a former corporate marketing executive who decided to take her career in a different direction after experiencing the huge void of evidence-based pre & postnatal exercise information during her first pregnancy. She recruited a team of experts to bring her vision of offering the Gold Standard in pre & postnatal exercise education to life. Brittany is a mom of two, and holds a BBA from the University of Michigan, a Personal Training Certification from NASM, and several pre & postnatal specializations — including corrective exercise, and diastasis & pelvic Floor rehabilitation. As a co-author of 6 PROnatal Fitness® courses, she utilizes her years of corporate experience presenting complex information in a simple and systematic way so that the listener can truly understand and apply the information.
