Life Time is expanding its presence in the Pacific Northwest in late spring 2025 with the opening of its first athletic club in Idaho: Life Time Eagle. It’s set to debut in two phases: The first in May 2025, and the second in spring 2026.
The Phase 1 opening is racquet-sport focused, with the club featuring nine indoor pickleball courts and six indoor tennis courts for members to enjoy. There will also be lounge seating and a pro shop.
In spring 2026, when the full club experience opens, members can enjoy the entire spectrum of amenities and spaces that Life Time offers, including fitness studios, an expansive workout floor, luxurious locker rooms, a Beach Club pool area, and more.
“We’ve seen a lot of people relocating to the Boise area since the COVID-19 pandemic, and a lot of them were members at a Life Time in their former state of residence,” says Brian Gaeta, vice president of West Coast club operations for Life Time. “So there is already some general awareness of the brand in this area, as well as the opportunity to introduce long-time Idaho residents to a healthy way of life. That makes it an exciting location for us to be expanding in. We’re excited to continue serving former members, alongside new members, at Life Time Eagle.”
Let’s explore the 135,000-square-foot Life Time Eagle space:

The racquet-sport portion of the facility is unlike any other offering in the region. “We’ve seen a focus on tennis and an opportunity for pickleball in the Eagle area,” says Gaeta. “There won’t be any other offering nearby that touches the level of excellence we’re going to provide.” Members can use the nine indoor pickleball courts and six indoor tennis courts all year around. There will also be a self-pour beer and wine service in the racquet sports facility.

When the weather is warm, members can bask in the sun at the outdoor Beach Club that includes two outdoor pools — one lap pool and one leisure pool — an expansive pool deck, and a bistro serving healthy eats and refreshing beverages.
Discover your go-to studio class by trying a variety of cycle, yoga, barre, dance, strength, and cardio formats. There are five designated studios: one each for barre, yoga, cycle, and Pilates, and one for all other unique-to-Life-Time group-class formats. There are options for people of all fitness levels and interests, and the classes are taught by top performers.
Venture onto the workout floor to find free weights, top-of-the-line cardio- and resistance-training machines, and designated stretching and recovery areas. It’s easy to build and stay consistent with a fitness routine when everything you need is in one convenient space.

The workout floor is also where GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit signature group training classes take place. GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning; and Ultra Fit combines sprint-interval training with balance and strength efforts.
MB360, the fourth in Life Time’s signature group training class portfolio, is also available to members. This mind-body program melds meditation and mobility work with functional strength and conditioning exercises.
Members who want to advance their fitness experience can engage with a Dynamic Personal Trainer for one-on-one guidance (at an additional cost). (Learn more: “Achieve Your Fitness Goals With Dynamic Personal Training.”)
For those looking to incorporate more stretching, recovery, or mobility work into their routines, consider a Dynamic Stretch session: A stretch specialist will take you through a full-body assisted-stretch session (at an additional cost). (Read more: “What Is Dynamic Stretch?”)
Members can recover in the LT Recovery zone, where experts offer direction, care, and support for members’ recovery needs. There’s also high-tech and effective recovery equipment, including CryoLounge, HydroMassage, Normatec compression technology, Hyperice percussion devices, metabolic testing, recovery treatments, and nutrition coaching.

Members can continue their recovery in the luxurious locker rooms, with each having a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge. The locker rooms also house showers and come stocked with fresh towels and personal-care amenities.
Life Time Eagle will also have a Kids Academy that features a multipurpose room where kids can play, as well as a toddler area. Kids ages three months to 11 years can learn and grow with the engaging and enriching age-specific programming and classes. Parents can use up to two hours of child care per day — included with a Junior Membership.
And whenever hunger strikes, healthy eats await at the full-service LifeCafe. The motto here is, “If it’s here, it’s healthy,” and the menu features nutritious entrees and protein shakes (learn about the new LifeCafe menu here!).
“I can’t wait to bring Life Time Eagle to this community,” says Gaeta. “This is a huge opportunity to expand our brand into a new market. With the momentum we already have from former members who are advocates for our brand, it feels meant to be. What we deliver will blow this community away.”
