Life Time is set to open its ninth athletic country club in the Atlanta market in summer 2025: Life Time Perimeter. Nestled between the King and Queens buildings in Sandy Springs, which houses corporations and businesses, this is sure to be a go-to location for working individuals and families alike.

“This is an iconic destination in the heart of the Atlanta suburbs,” says Deo Passarelli, vice president of club operations at Life Time. “We’re excited to transform this existing structure to match our Life Time standard. We look forward to welcoming current members from nearby clubs along with new members who haven’t yet had a chance to utilize a Life Time athletic country club before. We can’t wait to showcase Life Time’s state-of-the-art programming, beautiful spaces, and best-in-class experiences provided by our amazing team members.”

Let’s explore the 79,000-square-foot Life Time Perimeter space:

“There will be an outdoor, five-lane lap pool that’s connected to a leisure pool that has lounge poolside seating,” shares Sharon Randall, area director for Life Time in Atlanta. “It truly will be an inviting and luxurious outdoor space.”

Continue the fresh-air fun and grab a racket or paddle to enjoy this club’s five outdoor tennis courts — including four clay and one hard — and eight pickleball courts.

Discover your go-to studio class by trying a variety of yoga, barre, dance, strength, and cardio formats. There are four designated studios, one each for Pilates, barre, and yoga, and other unique-to-Life-Time group-class formats. Classes are taught by top performers, with options for people of all fitness levels and interests.

Venture onto the expansive workout floor to find free weights, state-of-the-art cardiovascular- and resistance-training machines, and designated stretching areas. It’s easy to build and stay consistent with a fitness routine when everything you need is available in one convenient space.

The workout floor is also where GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit signature group training classes take place. GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning; and Ultra Fit combines sprint-interval training with balance and strength efforts.

MB360, the fourth in Life Time’s signature group training class portfolio, is also available to members. This mind-body program melds meditation and mobility work with functional strength and conditioning exercises.

Keep your body moving using a unique-to-Life-Time-Perimeter offering: an indoor track. “We anticipate members often using this over their lunch breaks,” says Randall. “It’s a great option for getting a workout in — especially when it’s cold outside.”

Members who want to amp up their fitness experience can connect with a Dynamic Personal Trainer for one-on-one guidance (at an additional cost). (Learn more: “Achieve Your Fitness Goals With Dynamic Personal Training.”)

For those looking to incorporate more stretching, recovery, or mobility work into their routines, consider a Dynamic Stretch session: A stretch specialist will take you through a full-body assisted-stretch session (at an additional cost). (Read more: “What Is Dynamic Stretch?”)

Members can also head to the LT Recovery zone, which offers expert direction, care, and support for members’ recovery needs, along with access to high-tech and effective recovery equipment. Options include CryoLounge, HydroMassage, Normatec compression technology, Hyperice percussion devices, metabolic testing, recovery treatments, and nutrition coaching.

Continue your rejuvenation in the coed wet suite, equipped with a steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and whirlpool.

Life Time Perimeter also has a Kids Academy that features a multipurpose room, as well as a toddler area. Kids ages three months to 11 years can learn, play, and grow with the engaging and enriching age-specific programming and classes. Parents can use up to two hours of child care per day, included with a Junior Membership.

“Having a complimentary Kids Academy is a huge perk for members; we’re excited for our Life Time families to involve the entire family in their club experience and programs,” says Randall.

Members can also swing by the LifeCafe at any point in their day for nutritious meals and shakes. Or they can head to the juice bar on the lower level for a quick pick-me-up.

Members will love setting up shop and working in the complimentary Life Time Work Club Lounge. This is a dedicated coworking space for members to catch up on emails, take a phone call, or pause for a moment before heading out for the rest of their day.
