Guess what, Dayton? You’re getting your first Life Time athletic country club! Life Time Dayton is set to open in fall 2026.
“Life Time Dayton is a beautiful facility located in an up-and-coming area,” says Andrew Blosser, lead general at the forthcoming location. “Although this is the eighth Life Time club in Ohio, the closest one — Life Time Deerfield Township — is about 50 minutes away. This new club is going to be a true healthy-living destination for Dayton and the surrounding areas.”
Let’s explore the 114,000-square-foot space:

Upon entering the club on the mezzanine floor, members will be greeted by the concierge team at the front desk. From there, they’ll see the LT Shop, where members can purchase fitness equipment like the LT Pro 48 pickleball, shop Life Time apparel and merchandise, stock up on LTH nutritional products, and more.
They’ll also walk by the Life Time Work Club Lounge, an open-plan, community-style coworking area that’s complimentary for members. (Learn more: “What Is the Life Time Work Club Lounge?”)
Nearby is the LifeCafe, where members can enjoy a nutritious meal, like a build-your-own bowl, or grab something to go. There’s also a bar space that will host a variety of social events.

This floor is also home to the Kids Academy, where kids ages 3 months to 11 years can learn, play, and grow through engaging, enriching age-specific programming and classes. Parents can leave their kids at the Kids Academy while they use other areas of the club (up to 2.5 hours of child care per day is included with a Junior Membership).
The Kids Academy features a kid’s gym, an activity studio, a movement studio, an infant area, and a toddler area. There is also an outdoor kids space totaling more than 15,000 square feet with turf and a basketball court.
“From the age of three months all the way up to 11 years, every single age group is going to have something to do here,” says Blosser. “Kids are not just being babysat — they’ll come in and have structured programming where they can express themselves through play and movement and develop relationships with other kids.”
Another perk of a Junior Membership is attending unlimited monthly kids and tweens events. Parents can enjoy an evening to themselves — at the club or elsewhere — during regular Parents Night Out and Tween Takeover events, which are always based around fun themes. Families can also enroll their kids in School-Break Camps for those days when school is out and they need some entertainment.

Moving along, members will find the LT Recovery zone. This space is equipped with tools to soothe sore muscles and accelerate recovery, including HydroMassage and CryoLounge chairs, Normatec compression therapy devices, and Hyperice percussive therapy. (Learn more: “How to Use 3 Popular Recovery Tools at Life Time.”)
Heading downstairs, members can find the luxurious locker rooms for men, women, and families. Both the men’s and women’s locker rooms feature a sauna and steam room, and come stocked with fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, razors, and more. Feel pampered in these spaces dedicated to recovery and relaxation.
Members can head to the indoor pool deck to swim laps in the four-lane lap pool or take a dip in the cold plunge. Outdoors, they’ll find an eight-lane pool where they can relax and play in the water. “The outdoor pool deck is made to feel even more elevated and luxurious with an outdoor bistro, private cabanas, and 200 lounge chairs,” says Blosser.

Back inside, members can head to the large workout floor, featuring the latest equipment across free weights, resistance machines, and cardio machines. “Even with hundreds of members on the workout floor at once, there will be plenty of space to do whatever you want without feeling crammed,” he says.
The workout floor also contains the shared GTX and Ultra Fit class space, as well as the space for Alpha classes. Part of Life Time’s signature-group training portfolio, GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Ultra Fit combines sprint-interval training with balance and strength efforts; and Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning.
Dynamic Personal Trainers are available to guide and support members toward their fitness goals, while Dynamic Stretch specialists can provide assisted-stretch sessions to aid in members’ recovery efforts (both at an additional cost). Six stretch tables will be available near the workout floor for recovery needs.

Life Time Dayton’s five fitness class studios are also located downstairs, with one each dedicated to Pilates, barre, yoga, CTR (Core Tone Reform), and one for other unique-to-Life-Time group fitness classes, all of which are taught by top performers. MB360 is a mind-body program that combines meditation and mobility work with functional strength and conditioning exercises in a high-energy format. CTR is a music driven, tempo-based, low-impact workout performed on a reformer.

If members want to play pickleball, they can have their pick of nine indoor courts and 10 outdoor courts. Expect pickleball tournaments, leagues, clinics, and more to be offered.
“Life Time Dayton will be a space fit for anyone and everyone’s daily wellness routines, also with plenty of opportunities for building community and participating in events,” says Blosser. “Our team members truly care about making Life Time Dayton a health and wellness destination for all.”
