A new athletic country club is arriving soon to the Chicago area: Opening in early 2027, Life Time Naperville will feature the latest health-and-wellness amenities and offerings for every age and interest.
“People have been asking for this club for a long time,” says Darrien Johnson, lead general for Life Time Naperville. “We have clubs on the outskirts of Naperville — Life Time Warrenville on the north end and Life Time Romeoville on the south end — but Life Time Naperville will sit right in the middle, filling in that geographic gap for members in the area.”
Life Time is known for its 190-plus clubs across the United States and Canada that offer resort-like amenities, high-end health-and-fitness programming, and community-focused experiences. Its mission is to help members from 90 days to 90 years old live healthier, happier lives.
Johnson, who grew up in Naperville, envisions a family-forward environment for this new club. “Naperville is one of the top places to raise a family in the country,” he says. “My vision for this club is to have robust and innovative programming for kids and tweens, as well as adults-only and family events. These are the things that excite me most for Life Time Naperville’s future.”
Amenities across the 102,460-square-foot club will include:
- An expansive workout floor with free weights, state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, and a dedicated recovery space.
- A comprehensive Kids Academy for children ages 3 months to 11 years that features two gyms, an activity studio, a language-arts studio, a movement studio, an infant area, a toddler room, and an outdoor play area.
- Junior Membership benefits that include up to 2.5 hours of daily childcare and unlimited monthly kids and tweens events.
- Dynamic Personal Training, Life Time’s unique training philosophy to help guide and support members on their fitness journeys.
- Dynamic Stretch specialists who provide assisted-stretch sessions to aid members in their recovery efforts.
- A resort-style outdoor Beach Club with lap and leisure pools, waterslides, lounge seating, and a bistro bar and dining area.
- Four indoor pickleball courts and four outdoor pickleball courts with a lounge, plus beginner instruction, open play, leagues, and tournaments.
