In August 2022, the team at Life Time Lake Zurich opened its doors as the thirteenth athletic country club in the state of Illinois. This location sits alongside picturesque Lake Zurich, offering views from the second level of Life Time, and is less than two miles away from downtown Lake Zurich.
With three floors — a lower level, ground level, and upper level — there are 120,000 square feet of indoor space, along with an expansive outdoor pool area.
“Picture this: A member is upstairs in an Alpha or Ultra Fit class, then heads to LT Recovery to spend some time in the Normatech boots or lying on the hydromassage bed,” shares Lindsay Boeke, general manager at Life Time Lake Zurich. “From there, they venture into the executive locker room for a cold plunge and whirlpool, or sauna and steam room. That’s about the best experience I can think of.”

From the moment a member walks into Life Time and is greeted by our team, they have access to a health and wellness experience unlike any other. The executive locker rooms offer cold plunge and whirlpools, sauna and steam rooms, and high-quality amenities and towel services.
“I’m incredibly excited because our concierge leader, Tammy Ortner, has been with Life Time for almost 20 years and has truly embraced this concierge offering, elevating the experience for our members. We’ll be establishing relationships and connecting them to areas of passions they have or didn’t realize we offered,” Boeke explains. “There’s truly nothing like this experience in the Lake Zurich community.”
Pamper yourself in our full-service Life Spa, which offers manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing, as well as hair services and a wonderful retreat for massages. With six styling stations and six massage rooms, this rejuvenating space awaits.
“Lake Zurich is very much a family community, so we are excited to not only offer swimming lessons and swim team to our members, but also an oasis with our indoor and outdoor pools,” shares Boeke. “There is a kids and adult indoor lap pool and leisure pool, and an outdoor leisure pool, lap pool, and two water slides. We’re really bringing that resort-like feel. Across the street there’s the beautiful view of Lake Zurich, but why swim in a lake when you have a comfortable, temperature pool to swim in and a poolside bistro to order food and beverages at!”
Lake Zurich is home to many families with younger to middle-aged children. Life Time is excited to offer a space for the entire family to enjoy, including the Kids Academy for young ones while their parents are using other parts of the athletic country club.
“The Kids Academy space is wonderful, featuring studios spaces, a tumbling area, a learning lab, a kid’s gym, and an infant and toddler room. This is a great environment for our kiddos to spend quality time enjoying the experiences provided by our Kids Academy team,” says Boeke.
Swing by the LifeCafe for an energy bar, a protein shake, or a full meal. The menu has a variety of healthy options for you to explore. “We are excited to bring the LifeCafe offerings into this community in Lake Zurich knowing that this is something our families will be able to utilize,” says Boeke. “The convenience of grabbing food to-go to bring home for dinners, or for individuals or business professionals to stop in and grab a bite, all while maintaining their healthy way of life, is exciting.”

Life Time Lake Zurich has one, full-size basketball court with six hoops. “Whether it’s working professionals coming in on their lunch break to play some pickup hoops with coworkers and friends, or the kiddos who come home from school and want to work on their game, we are really embracing that community element by offering this beautiful gym space,” states Boeke.
Life Time Lake Zurich has an expansive workout floor, a cycle studio, two group-fitness studios, two yoga studios, a Barre studio, a Pilates studio, and designated areas for signature group training such as GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit. A unique element of this particular location is that every membership is a signature level membership, which includes all three of those formats.
