It’s almost showtime, Las Vegas: Life Time Durango will be debuting soon! Set to open in late 2026, it will be the third Life Time athletic country club in the Las Vegas area, and it promises to bring the latest and greatest of all the healthy-way-of-life company has to offer.
Life Time Durango also marks an important milestone for Life Time: As the 200th location, it represents the company’s commitment to helping its 1.4 million-plus members across the United States and Canada achieve their health and wellness goals.
“Las Vegas is often considered the hospitality capital of the world,” says Martin Martinez, lead general for Life Time Durango. “With the call for higher-quality, elevated services, Life Time fits right in.”
Life Time Durango members can also enjoy access to the nearby Life Time Green Valley and Life Time Summerlin clubs. “It’s been 12 years since our last grand opening in Las Vegas,” Martinez adds. “Las Vegas is growing, and we need to grow along with it.”
Let’s explore the 128,000-square-foot Life Time Durango space:
Upon entering the club, members will be greeted by the concierge team. Throughout the first floor, they’ll find a variety of high-end amenities and offerings dedicated to helping them feel like their best selves — inside and out.
Nearby is the LifeCafe, where they can enjoy a nutritious meal, like a build-your-own bowl, or grab something to go. There’s also a bar space that will host a variety of social events. “Members can look forward to mixers, curated social events, and more,” adds Martinez.
Members can give their skin, hair, and nails some TLC at the LifeSpa, a full-service salon and spa featuring treatments designed to pamper, including massages, facials, recovery services, and more. Life Time Durango’s LifeSpa has eight styling stations and five treatment rooms. “We take pride in casting renowned technicians and stylists in our LifeSpas so members can experience the best services and care,” says Martinez.
Continuing through the first floor, members will also walk by the Life Time Work Club Lounge, an open-plan, community-style coworking area that’s complimentary. “Whether you’re a junior member trying to get some schoolwork done or a professional needing somewhere to take a meeting, this is a dedicated space to be productive,” says Martinez.
There will also be a standalone Life Time Work location attached to the club (accessible from the second floor), offering premium offices, conference rooms, and work-focused amenities available through a separate membership.
Members will also find luxurious locker rooms for men and women on this floor. Both are outfitted with a full hydrotherapy suite experience with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and cold plunge dedicated to recovery and relaxation.
“Recovery services are in high demand, and Life Time endeavors to provide amenities that truly put our members at ease for the ultimate rejuvenation,” says Martinez. “If you haven’t yet tried these tools, it’s worth integrating them into your wellness journey.”
Accessible through the locker rooms, members can enter the indoor pool area, featuring a six-lane lap pool, six-lane lesson pool, and a leisure pool. “Our pools feature aquatics programming for both junior and adult swimmers,” notes Martinez. “You can drop your kid off for swim lessons, where they’ll progress safely and be overseen by an expert. Members can also drop their child off at the Kids Academy, where kids ages 3 months to 11 years can learn, play, and grow through engaging, enriching age-specific programming and classes. Parents can leave their kids at the Kids Academy while they use other areas of the club (up to 2.5 hours of child care per day is included with a Junior Membership).
The Kids Academy features a kids gym, an activity studio, a movement studio, a learning lab, a language arts studio, an infant area, and a toddler area. “Our Kids Academy offerings are versatile to accommodate all types of kids with all types of interests,” says Martinez. “We see the Kids Academy as an opportunity to start kids on their healthy-living journey and help them become part of the Life Time community.”
Another perk of a Junior Membership is attending unlimited monthly kids and tweens events. Parents can enjoy an evening to themselves — at the club or elsewhere — during regular Parents Night Out and Tween Takeover events, which are always based around fun themes. Families can also enroll their kids in School-Break Camps for those days when school is out and they need some entertainment.
Life Time Durango will have six indoor pickleball courts, with a pickleball lounge space to rest and mingle with other players. Expect pickleball tournaments, leagues, clinics, and more. “Playing pickleball is an opportunity to foster community, build relationships, and spark friendly competition on the court,” Martinez says. “This sport is for anybody and everybody, whether you’re looking to be competitive or just socialize and have fun.”
On the third floor, members will discover an expansive workout floor featuring the latest and greatest equipment, including access to free weights, resistance machines, and cardio machines.
If members are in need of guidance, Dynamic Personal Trainers are available to support them in the pursuit of their fitness goals, while Dynamic Stretch specialists can provide assisted-stretch sessions to aid their recovery efforts (both at an additional cost). “Our trainers and specialists are seasoned individuals who have a proven history of success in helping clients reach their goals,” adds Martinez.
The workout floor is home to the shared GTX and Ultra Fit class space, as well as the space for Alpha classes. Part of Life Time’s signature-group training portfolio, GTX is a 50/50 blend of cardio and strength work; Ultra Fit combines sprint-interval training with balance and strength efforts; and Alpha is centered around Olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning. “In our signature group training offerings, we’re always switching up the programming so it’s innovative and never redundant,” Martinez says.
Near the workout floor, members will see the LT Recovery zone. This space is equipped with tools to soothe sore muscles and accelerate recovery, including HydroMassage chairs, Human Touch Novo XT Pro Plus chairs, Normatec compression therapy devices, and Hyperice percussive therapy. Outside, members can relax on the pool deck, which includes a leisure pool, a six-lane pool, waterslides, 12 cabanas, and a bistro. “This is going to be a beautiful space overlooking the beauty of the southwest Vegas landscape,” says Martinez. “We’ll host signature events — both for families and adults-only — for our members to come together and have fun with their community.”
