Life Time has experienced quite the growth in Colorado over the past nearly two decades. In 2008, the healthy-living company opened two new ground-up athletic country clubs: Life Time Parker-Aurora and Life Time Westminster. In 2010, two more clubs — Life Time Colorado Springs and Life Time Centennial — followed.
The company then acquired locations that became Life Time Flatirons in Broomfield and Life Time Cherry Creek in Denver in 2018 and 2019, respectively, transforming existing facilities into expansive health and wellness destinations.
When Life Time Denver West arrived in 2024 — the company’s first ground-up club in the Denver area in four years — it was wildly successful, according to Laura Messerli, vice president of club operations for Life Time. “We hadn’t had a true ground-up grand opening in this area for a long time, so it created a huge resurgence of energy,” she says.
A year later in 2025, Life Time successfully opened a new ground-up club in Boulder. “Life Time Boulder’s opening delivered clear evidence that Colorado is a very good market for Life Time and something that residents desire,” says Messerli. “Our clubs — both newer and mature — are thriving in this state. As the population continues to grow here, we’re going to continue expanding.”
New Club, New Opportunity
Many Colorado residents are now familiar with the elevated health and wellness offerings inside a Life Time destination, and demand continues to grow as the company expands.
“People in Colorado are taking a more holistic view of their health and are looking for more well-rounded healthy-living offerings,” Messerli says. “It’s not enough to have a membership to a building that only has fitness equipment.”
To meet that growing demand, a new Life Time location is arriving to Castle Pines, a southern suburb of Denver, in fall 2026.
Life Time Castle Pines
When Messerli moved to Colorado in 2007, the town of Castle Pines was just land and rolling hills. “Now it’s become a tight-knit, higher-end community,” she says. “We’re delivering on an opportunity to give this community a luxurious one-stop health and wellness destination.”
Life Time Castle Pines will offer more than 102,000 square feet of top-tier athletic country club amenities and activities for members, whether they’re 90 days to 90 years old.
This new club will deepen the Life Time network throughout the area, with Life Time Centennial and Life Time Parker-Aurora only about a 15-minute drive away; a membership at Life Time Castle Pines also grants you access to these two clubs.
“The addition of this club will result in a more spacious experience at the other nearby clubs and reduced drive time for members who live closer to Castle Pines,” Messerli notes. “Members will also be able to take advantage of the facilities, class schedules, or professionals they desire between the three clubs.”
Key features of Life Time Castle Pines include the following:
- An expansive workout floor with state-of-the-art equipment.
- A sprawling Kids Academy offering enriching care and programming for kids ages 3 months to 11 years old.
- Four indoor pickleball courts and five outdoor pickleball courts.
- A resort-style pool deck that has an outdoor bistro.
- Six designated studios used for Pilates, CTR (“Core Tone Reform,” Life Time’s athletic reformer format), yoga, barre, and other unique-to-Life-Time group fitness classes.
- A full hydrotherapy suite experience with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and cold plunge.
- Recovery tools for use in the LT Recovery zone, and more.

Updates to Existing Clubs
Since the first Colorado club opened in 2008, the Life Time brand has meaningfully evolved. “When we opened Life Time Parker-Aurora nearly 19 years ago, it was more of a fitness resort. Now, it’s become a true athletic country club experience as we’ve developed the space and offerings to continue to meet member needs and expectations, as well as with how our understanding of what truly composes a healthy-way-of-life has evolved,” says Messerli.
Like Life Time Parker-Aurora, many of Colorado’s other longer-standing clubs have been refreshed with renovations and the latest and greatest health and wellness offerings.
“Even though our mature clubs are older, they look new because we’ve continually invested in these spaces,” says Messerli. “We’re constantly investing in the desirability of these clubs by updating the physical spaces, elevating the programming, and ensuring our team members are the best the industry has to offer,” Messerli adds.
Updates to existing Life Time Colorado clubs include:
- Studios have been outfitted for CTR (Core Tone Reform), Life Time’s newest class format that features a high-energy, low-impact athletic reformer workout, at Life Time Boulder and Life Time Centennial. CTR will eventually be available at all Colorado clubs.
- Members can reserve play time on a pickleball court at all Colorado Life Time clubs, except Life Time Cherry Creek.
- MIORA, a personalized, precision medicine clinic that uses advanced longevity approaches to help people live healthier, longer, is now open at Life Time Flatirons.
- HYBRID XT, a new Life Time signature group training offering centered around hybrid fitness training, will be added to Life Time Westminster this year.
- Life Time Cherry Creek recently underwent a remodel, which included expanding the workout floor to prioritize space for Dynamic Personal Training.
- Life Time Work Club Lounges are now available at all Colorado clubs, except Life Time Flatirons.
- All outdoor pool decks at Life Time clubs in Colorado have been refurbished with high-end lounge furniture for an elevated environment.
“Our continued expansion and presence in Colorado give our members more opportunities to be part of a community,” says Messerli. “Healthy living is important to the people in Colorado, and our goal at Life Time is to provide that outlet for them. We have amazing leaders and team members ready to support them.”
