These snowball-looking macaroons are a perfect winter treat. Drizzle with dark chocolate if desired to make this dessert a little extra sweet.
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cups unsweetened, shredded coconut
- 3 tbs. pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Beat the eggs with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
STEP 2
Fold in the remaining ingredients.
STEP 3
Form into bite-sized balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
STEP 4
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
