Introducing the Life Time Social Club

Life Time’s club within a club — featuring social experiences in iconic destinations — launches September 12–13, 2026 in New York City.

Even when you enter a Life Time athletic country club solo, you’re never truly alone. Greeted by your club’s concierge team and then surrounded by team members and fellow members, you may be moving to your own rhythm, but you’re part of a larger healthy-living community that moves together. And that sense of connection is powerful.

It’s that collective spirit that’s fueling the company’s latest community-forward offering: the Life Time Social Club, a new social membership designed to give members more opportunities to connect through experiences that bring wellness, hospitality, culture, and, most importantly, people together. Imagine mornings of movement and recovery, afternoons of relaxation by the pool, and evenings of celebration and camaraderie.

Life Time is more than a place to simply exercise; its athletic country clubs are grounds for connection and togetherness, anchored by health and wellness — a formula that Bahram Akradi, Life Time’s founder, chairman, and CEO, is harnessing in the company’s present and future.

“Life Time’s commitment to empowering a healthy way of life has never been just about the body,” writes Akradi. “It’s about helping people thrive, and none of us can thrive alone. We aim to be a place where people want to go, and a place where showing up is the good part of their day. Where fun and connection aren’t footnotes to health but rather the secrets to the whole thing. As strangers become familiar, and eventually become friends, we realize we’re not just getting healthier: We’re getting happier, together.”

LT Social will bring the same energy already found in many of Life Time’s clubs, but on a larger stage and with a brighter spotlight, melding wellness, hospitality, and community at some of its most distinct locations in cities across the country.

LT Social was born out of a large cultural shift, as more people look for activities that combine social and wellness activities. “You see this intersection of social and physical health already happening at Life Time,” says Michelle Duffy, vice president of retail and events marketing for Life Time. “We’ve identified LT Social as a way to bring more of these opportunities of connection to our members across the country. We have the best event spaces in our clubs in some of the best cities, so it’s a great match, and Life Time is leaning in.”

LT Social makes its debut September 12–13, 2026, at Life Time Sky in Manhattan, N.Y. (coinciding with New York Fashion Week and the U.S. Open finals). The New York weekend will serve as the first expression of LT Social, ahead of membership applications opening for future experiences.

The Inaugural Life Time Social Club Event

The first LT Social event is a two-day experience at Life Time Sky in Manhattan.

Split into three main sections — The Social, The Reset, and The Clubhouse — all experiences will take place on Life Time Sky’s rooftop pool deck.

Saturday, September 12

The Social: The gathering kicks off on Saturday evening with high-energy music and an elevated culinary experience. “This is a nightlife event featuring a headliner DJ, surprise-and-delight moments, and curated drinks and bites,” Duffy says.

Sunday, September 13

The Reset: The morning after, enjoy a recovery experience with Hyperice vibration therapy tools and Normatec compression therapy devices, express rituals from the LifeSpa, a juice and smoothie bar, and signature classes with Life Time’s top performers. “This portion of the event is for you to recenter yourself earlier in the day,” says Duffy.

The Clubhouse: Then in the afternoon, the pool deck will pivot into a daytime pool party. “Get ready for live music, signature mocktails and cocktails, cabana lounging, and more,” says Duffy.

How to Become a Life Time Social Club Member

New York is just the beginning for LT Social, with plans to feature the experience at clubs in Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, and more throughout the year.

Starting September 15, applications to become an LT Social member will open on the Life Time app. Once accepted as a member, you’ll get exclusive updates, so you always know when local, regional, and national events are happening.

“LT Social expands and redefines what Life Time is,” says Duffy. “We have amazing credibility in health and fitness, but this new platform will further help people connect, celebrate, and rediscover having fun together — it’s ultimately about creating the feeling of belonging. Life Time is uniquely positioned to be able to deliver that.”
