Gluten-Free Stuffing
Savor this hearty and aromatic stuffing that's made gluten-free by the use of almond or oat flour and features savory Italian sausage, tart apples, celery, carrots, and onion, and a fragrant blend of rosemary, thyme, and sage.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 tart apple, chopped
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- ½ cup almond or oat flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs. fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbs. thyme leaves, chopped
- 1 tbs. sage leaves, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
STEP 2
In a skillet, sauté sausage over medium heat for six to eight minutes. Add in the apple and veggies and continue to sauté until the sausage in cooked through.
STEP 3
Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add the flour, eggs, and spices and mix well.
STEP 4
Add the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
STEP 5
Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 25 minutes until baked all the way through.
