Yesterday, our new office manager, Brandi, decorated the office with festive, sparkly decorations. It was a simple thing, but every time I walked around the corner and saw a wreath or snowflake or glittery garland, I smiled. Somehow, that made everything brighter, so that I noticed a stranger holding the door open for me and the gas-station clerk seemed friendlier.
