Want to play a game of pick-up basketball, but unsure of where to find a group of players, since, well, you’re no longer 15? Enter InfiniteHoops, a new app that solves the missing-player problem by matching you with nearby pickup games. The app uses GPS to notify you when you’re near a court with a pickup game in progress and also lets you check out future games (where, when, how many people involved). Or you can start a group of your own. If basketball isn’t your thing, check out the Seattle-based software company’s similar apps for softball, hockey, and football. Visit www.infinite The app is available for free from the App Store.
